Okay, so...I haven't posted at all for a really long time. Sometimes, life gets in the way with school and all. But the thing that's really kept me away, has been this play that you've all heard so much about from my blog, as well as Flinn's blog! :D So...I thought I'd share some clips to show you what we came up with after so omuch work on this play! ;P Through blood, sweat, and tears we triumphed (literally), and here is the product of our stuggles...

"New Years" Resoloution

Well, it's almost here, and already *is* here for some of us! Ah yes...the new school year has come. I'm one of those kids who pretty much DREADS this time of the year...but I'll live! lol ;)
I just thought I would ramble about the things I am happy about, and the things I am not so happy for this year!

HAPPY:

1. I really liked pre-algebra, so algebra shouldn't be much of a problem...I might be one of those wierdos who like it! lol

2. I have made the best, most increadible friends of my life this summer, and I know that if I do struggle, they will be there, along with God, to help me!

3. I am doing a book that combines algebra 1 & 2, so I will be killing two birds with one stone! YAY!

4. All of the fun highschool events!

5. I am one step closer to being done with school FOREVER!!!!!!!

6. I am getting closer to the age of being aloud to have a phone!!! VERY yay!!! lol

7. P.E. credits are forcing me to work out, which I have been intending to do anyways!

NOT-SO-HAPPYS

1. It's just all new and kinda scary

2. Having to stress over getting enough credits

3. School taking up all of my time, and leaving no time for fun...that's a selfish one, I know.

4. I one of those people who just doesn't have the drive to study hard, and now that my grades really count, I really need to work hard. I am totally willing to do that! I just need prayer so that I can work through my laziness. hehe...

Well, that's all of my random ramblings of the school year, except I thought it would be fun to do a "new years" resoloution since it's a new school year. =D Mine is to work hard, and really *care* about my grades. I need ya'll to keep me accountable, okay? lol

So...I'd better head off. I've got some facebooking to do! hehe...But I would love you you guys to comment and tell me what you think of your school year! Ups and downs, or just whatever you want to say! ;) ttyl!

The Art Collector

I thought this was a really cool story so I thought I would share. (I stink at spelling by the way.)

Once there was an art collector. He had the most beautiful art in the world! He had collected this for years and years. It was the second most important thing to him. But the thing that he loved most of all, was his son.
Years later, the man died. In his will, he wanted to hold an auction to sell all of the art.
The first painting held up was a painting that was done by the man...it was of his son. He was no artist, so it wasn't very good, and there were no bids.
The price got lower and lower but still no bids.
The people began shouting to move on to the next piece.
"I can't!" The auctionere replied. "In the will, it says that I can't move on to any other pieces until this painting sells!"
One of the people who had worked for the old man had come to the auction. He knew how much his son meant to the man, so he offered to buy the painting.
"The auction is now open!" The man said, reaching for the next painting. Then he stopped, looked at the will, and said, "Never mind. The auction is closed..."
The people were shocked and confused!
"What do you mean it's closed?" One of them called out.
"The will states that whoever gets the son, gets it all."

I thought this was a neat example of how it is when some one gets saved. When some one chooses the Son, they get it all!
Whacha think, guys?

Summer!!!

Hey! This is just a fun post because I am feeling VERY happy that it's summer!!! I am SO excited!!!
Not sure what I'll be doing for vacation...but I do know that in about two weeks, we are heading to some theater in Texas to watch Wicked!!! It's an awesome, awesome musical!!! Highly recomend it!!! We may go to some old 80's concerts: Stryper and Journey. Stuff like that!
Anywho...I just wanted to see what all you guys are doing this summer???
Also, feel free to comment a shout for joy that school is out: I think I'll do that now... YYYIIIIPPPEEE!!!!! (And yes, Judi-I am hyper again! haha!)

American Idol....

Last night's Idol was a SHOCKER!!!!! I have been a HUGE fan of Adam Lambert all season and I think he TOTALLY deserved to win!!!! The dude has unbelievable range AND power!!! He puts on a great show, and overall has the *star qualities* that the judges always say that they are looking for. I didn't vote for him after I found out about his messed up morals, but I still thought he deserved to win.

But, I will say, the fact that America voted in a Christian (Kris) over a flaming gay (Adam) was actually very encouraging! Although I personally wanted Adam to win, it's sorta cool how it turned out.

Hey you all know how it feels when you're talking to someone online, and your mom is standing right behind you, reading every word that appears on the screen. Then, of course the person swears or talks about how much you love your crush or something stupid. Your mom reads it and tells you to get off line that instant and not talk to that person anymore.. Well, What can we do about that? To solve this problem, now we have started the 'code 9' system. In code 9, you simply press the number ''9'' when your parent or sibling are watching over your shoulder as you type. The person you're talking to will know what your talking about, and begin a conversation on homework or something. When your parent or sibling leaves, press ''99'' to let the person know that they are gone, so you can begin a normal conversation again. Please send this to everyone you know so that Code 9 can begin to go into effect. PLEASE: Copy and paste it to other people, DO NOT forward it!

-This is an email that my friend sent. I totally disagree with this, although I didn't say that to her. We should not have to hide what we say in chat, facebook, or other conversations because we should not be saying anything that 'needs' to be hidden.

SOOOO sorry that it took me this long to update!

SAGE was totally amazing as usual. They covered all of the tpical girl topics-modesty, boys, stuff like that, but they did it in a fun and different way! It was awesome. All of the teaching was great.
It also talked about how much the media really has an affect on us. Not just what we see, but song lyrics or anything like that. Or not even that the lyrics are bad, just that we are too busy obsessing over a song, movie, book, or magazine that it takes away from time with God.
I think that TWILIGHT is a good example of that (I have tons of friends that read/love it so I am not bashing anyone else who does too!). The books are VERY well written and make us go on the journey with that character-feel what they feel, think what they think, want to do what they do, want to have what they have. They are written SO well, and in such a way, that it makes people think that it's okay to make out or have "moments" with guys, if you know what I mean. >:p IT'S SICK!!! Wait until marriage. This DOES NOT just go for girls...it gets guys minds going where it should not be going until marriage as well. We do not need media stirring up feelings that God is supposed to stir up when the time is right.

Liam Neeson's wife :(

Liam Neeson and his wife were on a skiing trip. She was going down a slope when she fell and hit her head, I suppose on a rock burried under the snow. She seemed to be totally fine. They took her down on one of the jet things anyways-since she was a star. They went back to the hotel room and she even joked about how clumsy she was. Then, later that day, she began to get head aches so bad that they took her to the hospital.
She was taken to ICU and Liam was told that his wife was probably not going to make it. She died--yesterday I believe.
Apparently, she had bleeding inside her brain and no one knew.

It is totally amazing how quick and un-predictable life is. No way to tell when it will end. All we can be sure of, is that it WILL end. And we need to know where we are going when it does.

My prayers are with Liam.

My Story

Okay, so I don't know if I like it or not, but here's my story. Or part of it anyways. I personally think parts are pretty dumb, but who knows. It could be okay. Here:

A black dragon of smoke- Chasing. Trailing. The boy and the creature locked in a hazy tunnel, seemingly unable to escape. At the end, a rush of light plummeted toward them. Consuming. Then, total darkness.

Christian scrambled awake. A wild wind, cold and powerful, whipped through his black hair and all about, like the tail of an angry cat. The sky was a dark gray. The air was hot and heavy.
Christian was confused. Panicked. Terrified.
Only moments ago he had been at his house in Colorado. Sound asleep. Warm and happy in his bed.
Could he be dreaming? No, not dreaming. He felt. He heard. He had to be awake.
He tried to focus his eyes; adjust them to the darkness. It didn’t work. The sky had gone from gray to black in moments. Seeing wasn’t an option. He had to feel his way around.
The ground beneath him was hard and jagged. Rock. A mountain, maybe? He wasn’t taking the chance of tumbling down a cliff. He would have to wait for the sunlight.
God, please help me. I’m lost…afraid. Confused. Will you give me some comfort…some knowledge that it’s going to be okay? Christian prayed inwardly.
Almost instantly a verse flew into his mind. He whispered it over and over again. This verse had helped him many times before. But he would need it here, in this strange place, more than he ever had in the past.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” It played again and again in his mind. It gave him a sense of peace until he drifted back to sleep and awoke again to this new place.

“He’s here, my Lady. The child has come.” Said the creature as it entered the room. It was small, about a foot and a half feet tall; its skin was green and rough like a desert turtle. It wore a thin, hooded cloak that was torn and frayed. Walking over on two tiny legs, its back hunched over, its hands hanging loosely in front of him; he bowed before a tall woman.
“Scrogg,” She smiled and turned; her chainmail dress clanging as she did. “You’re back!”
“Yes, Majesty.” He replied. His voice was squeaky, but deep and raspy; as if each word were forced from the back of his throat. “The boy. The one you sent for. He has arrived!”
“So soon? Well done, my pet! You saw him yourself?” She was a welcoming site. Her eyes were an aqua blue, sparkling like the sun on a lake. Her hair shone as well, a gorgeous red that came down past her knees. It was braided in the back, dangling down like a whip. The way she carried herself would be confusing to any who were around her. It made one love her, and be terrified of her all at once.
“Yes, my Mistress. I saw him. On the mountain. Easy to retrieve. Scrogg gets him.” He hastily began to exit the huge stone doors when he was halted immediately by a command.
“No.” The voice which would, earlier, lure anyone in was now cruel and demanding. “Don’t fetch him. If I trusted you alone with such an important task, all of Aurrian would perish.” Altering her tone of voice, she spoke as if to a puppy, “And, we couldn’t have that, could we, my pet?”
“No, no, Highness. No,” Mumbled the creature, repeating the no’s multiple times under his breath, looking almost as if he were trying to reassure himself of something but didn’t know what.
“Now follow my orders exactly,” She commanded. “Go to the Ellorian Chamber and set them free. Say that I ordered them to fetch the boy…” She paused and thought for a moment, the creature mumbling nonstop the whole time. “Oh, and Scrogg…be sure they know that I don’t care how they get him as long as he’s alive when he gets here. Understood?”
“Yes, Lady. Yes, Mistress.” He said as he exited the room to carry out his master’s demands.

The newly awakened sun shone pink across the sky. Christian got an early start at trying to figure out where he was and what had happened. He was, as he had guessed the night before, on a mountain. “Lucky I’m not too far from the bottom.” He thought aloud to himself, peering over the edge at a green valley below. The grass swayed from side to side in a gentle breeze. This certainly didn’t seem like the same frightening place he had been in during the night.
Separating the empty valley from a small town, with, what seemed to be ten or fifteen little farmhouses in it, was a winding river. It stretched across to another beautiful mountain and up. The whole place reminded Christian of one of those paintings he had seen in museums or hanging in one of his sisters’ bedrooms. –Sisters. The twins. By now they would be waking up, Bethany all smiles, Bailey fumbling around the house, still groggy from sleep. Climbing down with the thought of his siblings and parents driving him on, he reached the bottom in no time and began to cross the valley, unsure of where he was going or why.
About an hour of walking later, he stumbled upon a dirt path. Next to it, a sign stood with crude writing on it. At first, Christian had no clue what it said. But after fifteen minutes of struggling and mispronunciation, he finally got it.
It read:
“bOgrIan. sOuth-East. Pursue COURSE If YOu MUST.”
“Bogrian? What’s all this? ‘Pursue course if you must.’ Sounds dangerous to me. I don’t think I want to risk…”
A loud screech cut across the sky interrupting his thoughts. He whirled around, more than startled, and tried to pin the owner of such a strange sound. He soon found it. High above, rushing down toward him with hot, angry eyes was a bird. It looked almost like an eagle with blue feathers that seemed to be covered in silver glitter. Its clawed feet were also silver, as well as its beak and outlining feathers around its eyes. Again it shrieked, louder than the last time, and dove for Christian trying to either claw him or pick him up. He wasn’t sure which.
Christian didn’t have time to think. He immediately turned and darted down the pathway as fast as he could. He glanced back to see if the thing was pursuing. It was, and getting closer by the second. One huge flap of its wings and it was within striking distance. It stretched out its foot and raked across Christian’s back with a quick swipe of its talon. He let out a painful cry and stumbled for a moment. Another slash followed, on his side this time; it knocked him to the ground.
Christian found himself face-to-face with the creature; it screeched and delivered one final blow. Darkness consumed him. He saw nothing. But before he completely lost consciousness he heard a voice yelling and a scraping sound. Then the bird. It howled with anger and pain. Then-nothing.

Princess/Squire

Okay, you are probably all tired of my endless prayer requests and play talk, but you're just going to have to deal with it and read my post about both this time! ;) jk
The play has only five more rehearsals before opening night. (SCARY!!!) The problem is that all of the girls have to do this sing-dance thing which is REALLY long and hard. The guys have to do this rap which is also REALLY hard. We are not able to practice on a stage at all and so we don't really know where or when to go onstage. It's getting pretty stressful to me and to the dirrector. She's very worried. As many prayers as can be spared would be amazing. Satin is trying to stop us from getting this very important message across but God willing it won't hurt anything. We simply need PRAYERS!!! The play as is has lasted 3 hours each practice and if we have to cut things out it will be more confusing and stressful.

The Princess and the Kiss/The Squire and the Scroll

Did any of you guys read the books The Princess and the Kiss or The Squire and the Scroll? I read those when I was younger and I used to LOVE them.
Well, Flinn and I are in a play of both of those books combined. The lady that wrote it got permission from the author and we will be preforming it to a highschool, a church, and one other place which I don't know where it is! LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What The Princess and the Kiss is about is a princess and her sister. They are both trying to keep their hearts pure. The older princess is old enough to get married and is trying to decide who she should pick. It goes through all of these men: One who's strong, one who's handsom, one who's romantic, and so on. She doesn't pick any of them because their hearts are "so full of themselves that there is no room for her there." She ends up with a poor farmer (typical story but ya know) and they both have saved their "kisses" so they have something to give to one another.

The Squire and the Scroll is about a young boy who is trying to keep his heart pure and how he ends up with a girl who has saved her "kiss" just as he did. Basically the same story only about a guy and there are some fights in it.

What the lady that wrote the play has done is combined both of the stories to make the squire boy marry the princess. It follows both of their stories from either side until they meet and we go on from there.

"Why are you posting all of this?" You may ask. WE NEED PRAYER!!!
Satan has already tried to stop they play from happening. A little ways through writing the script the computer that it was being done on stoped working. Luckily we were able to get it onto another one. Then that one shut down. We got it on anther computer and that one stayed good until we got it all printed, thank God!
So, if we got that much from Satan so early on, I am a little scared to see what he will try to do at the performance. I know it will work out how God wants it to nomatter what Satan tries. But we still NEED PRAYER!!!!

Hello all! Okay, so it's 2009 and time for New Years Resolutions. I don't normally do those, but this year I decided I really needed to spend more time in the word and really seeking God. That's what my resolution was to do this year. I do find it hard to stop and take the time to read my bible though, so I was wondering if a few of you guys could keep me accountable? Just comment or something and ask me if I've been doing it?
But I'd like to know what all of your other resolutions are! Care to share? '
How did you all spend your New Years? We had cousins at our house...we made it to around 2:30! Did you guys make it to 12:00?

How was everyone's Christmas? I know mine was great! It was sort of funny though because it was 70 outside on Christmas day! :)

Flinn and I went to some friends house yesterday and today. Each time we go over there we try to act out the whole first Narnia from start to finish. We have been trying to actually finish it for MONTHS and this trip we acually did it! We were all soooooo excited.
We started Sunday at...I don't know...1:00pm and we did it until around 11:45 or so that night. Then we started up again at 8:15am and we were officially done somewhere around 3:20pm. It was VERY fun!

Idina is Depressed

I am sooooo upset! I just found out that Disney...which I am now very against....is not going to do The Voyage of the Dawn Treador because Prince Caspian didn't make much money. The first one made a lot of money and the third one has more fans than any of them from what I have heard so I don't see why it matters other than greed. DARN GREED!!!! ;)
This means that there is a huge chance that they will not use the same actors since their contracts were with Disney. The new company can choose others to play the parts if they so choose. They would be dumb to do so...but they can.
If they do that not only will it stink because I love all of them and think that they fit the parts perfectly, but also because any series that the characters suddenly change how they look is lame. Cross your fingers and keep hoping that they will keep Skandar, Georgie and Ben!!!!!!!

Narnia audition

I know that Flinn has already said something about it but we are going to try to be an extra in the next Narnia movie! I hope we get the part, but if not, it isn't the worst thing in the world.
Also, I need prayer because we are going to another audition on January 2nd in which we have to cry. That is a VERY hard thing for me to do. It is not very often that I cry for real and so doing it fake-ishly will be hard!!!!!!

Christmas came so fast!

Is anyone as surprised as me to think that Christmas is only three days away?!? We are not doing much...just going to our Grandparents house (they live about an hour or two away) on Christmas Eve and then driving back that night. In the morning we always have Christmas with just us...and I like it that way. What is everyone else going to do?
Gifts and all the stuff is really great, but the best part is knowing that you are celebrating Jesus' birth and simply getting to spend a whole day with your family. I love that!

Movies, Christmas and Changes

I just want to announce that Prince Caspian comes out tomorrow! I am soooo excited. It has the movie (of course), Skandar Keynes Blonde Cam (Skandar's blonde moments, I think), Audio Commentary with all of the cast and dirrector Andrew Adamson, deleted scenes, bloopers, and some other stuff that I know I am forgetting. I CAN'T WAIT!
I also wanted to post about yesterday's events. We got back from seeing some friends for Thanksgiving on Saturday and the following day after church we put up our Christmas tree. I look forward to that every year because we get to spend time with the whole family at once just having fun. We always turn the Holiday Music Channel on which is nice because it really gets us all in a Christmas mood. I had so much fun! :)
The Changes part of this post is just to let everyone know that I have changed lots of things on my blog. I am not sure why I am telling you all of this because if you are here I am sure you figured it out but I am telling you anyways! Flinn's Birthday

Today was Flinnneo's birthday! We did this treasure hunt all around our land. Her team won...ours was last! LOL! Then she opened presents and had cake and we also played red-neck golf. At the very end we played a game that we made up with some friends called Alliance. (it was a swords game) Then most of the pals left so we just sat and had a chat with the remaining people. It was really fun! And this was a short post...oh well! :) I almost typed opst instead of post! LOL

Cleanliness, Facebooks and Choices...OH MY!!!

I have been working on cleaning out my room all day long! AHG! I chose to just becuase I am so tired of all of my un-needed things! Plus, I wanted to mature it up a little bit. :) I actually really like to clean things out, I just don't like the time it takes to do it! It is so amazing what you can find just by a quick clean. I had lost a necklace and a ring and I found them both! Moving on....
I just got a facebook today! *claps hands* I am sooooo excited! I have wanted one for a VERY long time! I am still trying to figure it out but it is so fun!
I was wondering if you guys/girls could just pray for my family. We are trying to make some decisions and they are kind of scary so we need prayer!

Okay...So Flinn's birthday is today! YAY! We aren't doing a whole lot until the party. One of our friends is coming over and our parent's are giving her their present tonight. They have this thing that they do where I don't get to know what they got her so VERY unfortunately I can't tell you what it is.
WARNING: This is basically going to be a ton of ramblings! If you get bored easily...do not read on! :)
I started Hip-hop again last Tuesday. It was so much fun! Lot's more stretching than normal which was so great! My stomach muscles were killing the next morning but it was so worth it because I seriously needed to get in shape! LOL
Prince Caspian comes out on the 2nd of December and I am soooo excited! There was a link that had a little part of the bloopers on it and they wre funny! I'll put the link of there later but our friend just got here!

A Journey At Home

Journey to the Center of the Earth starring Brenden Fraser, Anita Briem, and Josh Hutcherson came out of theaters on the 28th of October! Now out in 2-D and 3-D, you can take the same adventure and see the same things as if you were really there from the comfort of your own home!
That's what the commercials say (basically) and they are so right! That is my favorite movie of all time other than Prince Caspian. I got it the day it came out and I have already watched it twice (once in 2-D once in 3-D). I am not like Flinn and will do that with just any movie either so be amazed! LOL! The only thing that isn't so cool is that the commentary is just Brenden Frazier and the
3-D isn't as cool as when you see it in theaters (which is expected). The rest is so neat! The features are Brenden Fraser and Director Eric Brevig commentary, A World Within Our World (theories about what is beneath the planet's crust), Being Josh (What a day with 12-year-old Josh Hutcherson is like), How to make Dinosaur Drool (pretty self-explanitory), and Adventure at the Center of the Earth Challenge (some games on the dvd).
So, there you have it! A lot of info about the DVD that I am sure you didn't care to know! It is pretty interesting to watch, though. I saw all of them except the theory thing and the games. Haven't done those yet.
So, in summary, it was a great movie and if you haven't seen it you need to (araken :P) because it was VERY good and I thought it was pretty well made for a kinda kid, kinda not movie. I loved it! :D

Finally an Update

I have just had the most Narnia-filled day of my life and I LOVED IT!!!!! As you may have guessed by now, I am a HUGE Narnia fan. One of my best friends had a birthday party yesterday and she too is obsessed with Narnia, so of course it was all Prince Caspian-d out. We acted out and filmed parts of the movie, spoke in British accents occasionally, had a birthday cake that had Narnia action figures all over it, played Narnia games, watched some Narnia, and had Narnia conversations! It was sooo fun! Call me crazy if you will...and I won't argue with you...but it was a blast!
As much fun as that was, it was also slightly depressing. See, we just found out that they are moving like two or so hourse away from us. That isn't a terribly long way, but we are so used to seeing each other all of the time it will just be weird and sad. :( We both do swordsclass together which mean we see each other at least once a week... "all that we know is about to change."
Back to a brighter subject...I have been asked to play guitar and sing in our JOY ministies at church. That will be sooo fun! JOY ministries is basically a Sunday school for kids with special needs like downs, autism (sp?), and things like that. It is soooo neat to see them worshiping God in their own way. But please just be praying that it goes okay and that I don't cause them to be bored to tears! LOL

So there is not a whole lot to say, so this will probably be the world's shortest post. You never konw. So...I auditioned for A Christmas Carol with my sister and we found out today that neither of us got the part. I've been turned down twice so I am getting a little discouraged but I'll keep on trying out anyways! I am going to see Flinn's play again today...they have had a few messups but they were all funny and I didn't get to see any of them so I hope that something funny happends today! Not something terrible, but funny! :) Well....I guess I'll leave it at that and try to seek out something to write about in future posts! LOL

Mission Trip

Hey! I am officially in Mexico! I have been here since around four o'clock on Tuesday. It is really fun! I got to see the family we built a house for last trip and that was really neat! I may post pictures of them later if they don't mind. The streets here are totally full of water in some places from hurricaine IKE and some others are totally dry and cracked.
The kids here are so dirty and covered in mud in most parts of Mexico, but some of them are nice and clean and go to school every moring. It is so bad that they fight over one granolla bar. It is really sad. Ne praying for these people!
There is one boy who has an ear infection and had for a long time. We took him to a good Doctor here and she told them he needed medicine but for some reason the dad won't let him take it. I don't know why.
Another familyhas an 83 or so year-old grandpa that has a problem and can't walk. My dad can fix it, but they won't make the effort. Keep on praying! ;)

33 kids joining the Kingdom of God and maybe more to come!

We had our preformance for the Star Wars play yesterday! We switched some things around and turned it into a ministry thing and 32 kids ended up getting saved! It was sooooo cool! We are now going to try to do it at other churches and stuff so that more people can accept Christ into their hearts! SO excititng! Keep us in your prayers!
Also, I went to a youth camp this weekend and my friend, who I always assumed was a Christian, also prayed and asked God into her heart. It was so cool. We were all in our cabin for Reflection when she said that. All the other girls started admitting things to everyone about their struggles and we were all hugging them and crying and praying for them. We heard some really neat things and some really sad things too. It was all just really neat and you could see God working in some of them already. It was amazing.
Another thing, is that I am leaving for a week-long mission trip to Mexico tomorrow! We will be building a house and seeing families that we have built for in the past. It will be really neat. So please pray that we have an impact on their lives. Pray that we do more than build a house, but that we help them start to build a relationship with God as well.

Okay, so I could post sooner than I thought, but also kinda late still! :)
Thanks for trying to think of ideas Judi and Paris! All of you that didn't comment...SHAME ON YOU! jk ;)
Flinn and I finished the Isle of Fire book a week or so ago. It was soooo good! I don't know if Wayne Thomas Batson plans to write a third book or not, but I think he will! He leaves the end open and there are so many questions still un-answered, too many new characters to read more about, and stuff like that. I think what I am really saying is that they are just so good that I don't want them to end! Wayne HAS to write another one! So, I am happy and sad at the same time. :):
Moving on, what is everyone else reading? Now that we are done with the Isle of Fire, I am reading the Restorer. I am pretty along but not close to the end. So far it's really good!
Oh, and I have a friend that is kinda going through a tough time. He needs some prayers. I have another friend who is trying to earn enough support money to do something, although I don't know exactly what it is. So she needs prayer for that!
Our swords class starts again today! YAY! They took a break for the summer and it is finally starting again! I am sooo excited. Does anyone else have anything strang, exciting, or both to share? You are free to comment away if so! But only if you want to! ;)

SKANDY CAME THROUGH!!!

Okay, a couple of months ago I wrote all the Pevensie's actors/actress. About a month ago Georgie Henley (Lucy) sent me an autographed picture back. I WAS SOOO HAPPY! But then I wasn't trying to get into a blogging habbit so I didn't post about it. ;) On that same day, my friend calls me and says she just got Ben Barnes' (Prince Caspian) autograph in the mail because we both wrote them all. It was crazy weird that we got them on the same day.
So yesterday she calls me and says she has got Skandar Keynes (Edmund) autograph who is my total favorite out of all of them...and they are real...I can tell. Georgie's may not be if any just because of how it looks, but this one definately is. Anyways, I screamed with excitement and she did too and we talked forever. I was sooo happy for her!
I hadn't checked my mail that day, so I thought...wouldn't it be funny if we got them on the same day again? So I went out, checked my mail, and I get one too! I was sooooooo excited and still am as you can tell! So yeah! I got Skandar's too. That made me really happy! :D

Star Wars play!!!

I think I have already posted about the Star Wars play that I am in...if not, I'm in one. We haven't had practice yet but we will soon because the preformance is on the 5th of October. I have to build a 25 or thirty move fight...something like that. I am an evil sith! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The reason that I am telling you all this is because we have to come up with our own makeup/hair do ideas and so I was hoping for some creativeness! I just wanted to let everyone know that my friend finished his book a couple of days ago!!! YAY!!! *claps* He has been working on that for a LONG time. He is now going to try to publish it!!!

And...I am learning lead guitar finally! It is sooo fun and I am learning a lot. I hope I can get really good! Does anyone else play lead? If so...I need tips! LOL

Hey! There's not a whole lot to say so I shall try to think of something....I am trying to get back into a blogging habbit! :)
Um...Oh yes!!! The Isle of Fire! Has anyone read it yet??? Our bookstore let it out early so me and my sister are reading it. I don't know when it was supposed to come out. But anyways, I think that it is REALLY good so far. I REALLY love it. If anyone else has read it...what do you think??? :)
Another thing that I thought of. We are doing Bible in school this year...and I have gotten in a REALLY bad habbit of forgetting to read my Bible. So I decided to wake up early and read it. I read it to myself, and then we did our Bible class too, and it is totally, awesomely crazy how much better I felt when I did take the time to do that. It made me a lot happier knowing I had spent time in the word and with God. It is really great!

Also, I was wondering if you could pray for a few things...okay a lot of things. It's been kinda crazy lately.

1. My friend's older sister died a little while ago. Flinn posted about it I think. I has been VERY hard on the mom and the second oldest sister especially.

2. My other friend is just back from the hospital yesterday or today. She was totally fine and then all of the sudden she had really high temperature and her stomach hurt. They had to do all kinds of stuff and now she is better again but sore cause of all that stuff they did.

3. My sister got a part in a play! YAY! I just was thinking you could pray for her and a friend that got in it too that they do well and remember their lines.

4. I am in a play! A different one. It is a Star Wars play and I am some evil Sith thing. It will be really fun. I have to saber-fight my sister and so far the fight is really cool. Anyways...just hope that goes good and we remember our fight! :)

I just saw Prince Caspian! But, as my title states, I must keep all the increadible secrets and not tell anything. The only thing is that at first I thought I wouldn't like Caspian but in the end I think I do...he's just a little hard to figure out but I think I like him. :) Just to sum up the whole movie for y'all...

IT ROCKED!!!

Also, we got the game on the 15th, and let me tell you the graphics are better than the fist one. It's not only killing like a lot of games are now, though it does have killing in it. You have to slove puzzles and find things while you kill people. It's really fun. Flinn and I had to skip through the scenes that they show on there because we didn't want to spoil the movie, so I can't tell you a whole lot about that, but since that's part of the movie and not the game it doesn't matter! :)

I watched Spider-man 3 for the first time this weekend! As my friend Big Jawa said, "The dancing was the scariest part in the whole movie." But other than that, I loved it. Harry is my fave so when he was run through it made me really sad! D: Has anyone other than me noticed that he is a weird mix of Haydan Christianson and Heath Ledger? Long time no write

I am sooo sorry! It's been a LONG time since I have written! I have been busy with school and family issues. As my sister posted, my Grandpa...Pepaw died. He was really sick, but it was OK because we know he was a Christian. The first thing a lot of our friends and stuff said was that now he was with his wife, but more than that he's with God now and even though I loved my Memaw and that's a cool thing, imagine seeing God!!! she sighs longingly. :)

Now, to be completely and utterly off subject, it is only 17 days until Prince Caspian!!! WOO!!!! For those of you who have DISH network (if it works the same) The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is comming on this week and there will be a new, never before seen commercial on it! Record it or something if you are like me...a little sponge for Prince Caspian stuff...soaking up every bit of info I can get.

Hello!

We...meaning me and Flinn, are going to a girls ministy called SAGE. (sorry, i can't tell you what it stands for. i forgot) It will be REALLY fun I think...though it kinda landed at a bad time. We are missing 2 things!

1) Our steel swords class

2) Three of my guy pals are in a play this weekend and because of SAGE we can't see it. Darn. They will all be in tights! TEE HEE! (it's a peter pan ballet and they are doing sword fighting.)

But anyway..."what exactly is SAGE?" You may ask. Well, it is where a ton of girl from different churches get together and just worship. I LOVE worship. It rules and...oh darn. Can't finish. My friend is here. More Later and I suppose by then I shall tell you how it went! SORRY.

Tomarrow is a very sad day...but before I get into all of that, let me say something kinda funny! (i have good news too!) When I was typing Tomarrow in the title, I almost typod and said Tomatto!

SAD: It is the last night of our Passion of the Christ preformance!!!

Hello!!!

I was hoping you could all pray for me...again. You are going to get tired of my prayer request, but I need them!!! I am in a play and I have a singing solo. I have already preformed 2x but I have messed up the words both times...the first preformance my mike didn't turn on until a few minutes after the first verse. I have two more times to do it so please pray that I remember everything. AAAAHHHHH!!!!

Spring Break

So how was Spring Break for all of you guys?!? It was sooo much fun for me! I had my cute little two year old cousin, her parents, and some other Aunts and Uncles at my house...IT WAS GREAT! They live a LONG ways away so I never get to see them. I almost cried the day they left...maybe I did. I think I shall ask a very hard~to~answer and very random question!

Mission Trip

Hello all!

A group of our youth kids have gone to Mexico on a mission trip. I am praying that they make a difference in the lives of the people there and I was wondering if you would too! I LOVE those trips but was sadly unable to go this time. I have been to three in the past, though and I just love how they always seem to give me a wakeup call about something as well as give people two things that they need: The Gosple and a roof over their heads. It is sooooo sad to see what they are living in, but also so cool to see how happy they are despite that. I think that it is almost a good thing to know what it is like to have nothing. It can really shape your character for better or for worse.
There was this little boy on our last trip that we went on that had a little growth on his cheek. It could be easily removed here but they do not have the money to send him. I ask for prayer that they could somehow do that.
Also, there is a 16 or so year old girl who is now going to have a baby. That in itself is sad, but now she is saying that she will try to go across the boarder to have it. I ask that you pray that she will do what God would want her to do even though she may be going against Him. That stuff makes me soooooo sad!

Also...who is mad that Danny left? I sure was! He seemed like a different person but I LOVED his voice. He just seemed very likable and entertaining...plus I am not a Chakezee(sp?) fan. No offense to those lovers of Chakezee, but I just didn't like him much. He did seem like a nice person though! Tell me what you think and if you comment...I'd like to learn why. Ok, so today was that worship event that I spoke of before. Thanks for all of the prayers (i think i asked ya'll to pray) my hip-hop dance went great! I had a blast doing it...but aside from that, the whole day was amazing!
Let me begin with what Take Action is. It is a whole day of worship that the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base in my state has.
It is amazing how something as small as one day of getting together with other believers in Christ and just telling Him how much you love Him can do to totally open you up! It was just such an un-inhibited invironment and after just feeling what REALLY worshiping was like I don't think I'll ever do it any other way. There were people praying over one another that didn't even know each other, hands and voices raised everywhere, and you could just tell by looking about that ever person in that room truly had a heart for God. It was absoloutly increadible! My ending question is: Has anybody ever been to something like this? and another is: Does anyone have a YWAM base in their state?

Spiderwick Chronicles:
Good movie! VERY entertaining. I enjoyed it very much and I think that Jared is the coolest though Thimbletack is pretty cool too! I like that the twins are not exactly the same though I LOVE that they are like that with Nock and Bolt! It seems to fit better with them! what does everyone else who has seen it think of it?

Ok, well, the preformance is tomarrow(hip-hop) and it will be REALLY cool. There will be lot's of cool witnessing in the skit and all of the speeches. Testimnies shared and things like that. COOL!

Anyway...I am now on the DOOR WITHIN forum(sp?),though my name is different. I am thinking of changing it though. (it is Sir Aelic) is anyone else on the forum? (i know some of you are 'cause I've seen you!)

I wrote some on the forum's never ending story, but i am not too good at being creative in that area but hey...i tried!

Prayer requests

Well, I was hoping you could all pray for me in these little areas!

1. I am TRYING to train my German Shepherd to be a therapy dog so that he can go in nursing homes or children's hospitals and maybe cheer them up a bit. However, my dog decided he would rather be a monkey in the circus and he won't be taught. Another problem is that I don't train him every day and I need to find the will-power to just go do it!

2. My great grandfather passed away a while ago, but my grandma is still having a hard time.

3. My grandfather is in the nursing home and he really wants to get out. He had to have his toes taken off so now he must learn how to walk again before he can do that.

4. I am going to a hip-hop dance preformance at a thing that is basically a whole day just to worship and stuff. I will be preforming in it and I am a little rusty on some of the moves. AAAAHHHHH!

I don't know about you, but I love the Chrinicles of Narnia! All of the books are soooo good and I REALLY hope the movies portray just what C.S. Lewis would have wanted.
My personal favorite is Edmund because, though he does make mistakes, I think that it takes more courage to do something wrong and make it right than to have never done any wrong in the first place. (not that i am saying to do wrong!) Not to mension he is simply REALLY cool!

And welcome. I am soon to have a B-day! Harah! (or if you prefer the Mallik way of speech, Hazah!) It is also Thursday in a few days and that is when we used to do our theatrical swords class. WHAT FUN!
All of my sword weilding friend's and me will possibly not have that enjoyment this spring though. It was supposed to stop in winter and then start again in the spring, but the teacher is having some either money, or time issues. Possibly both. I was hoping all of you could pray that whatever the reason that everything will work out and that our teacher will not be in too much of a pickle.

OverDrive weekend

OverDrive is a youth event where we went for the entire weekend and you just go to worship and grow in the word.
The topic was not judging others just by how you THINK they are or how they look. That topic seems almost cleshay(sp?) but I have a problem with that and I learned my lesson!
There were two boys at my youth who I thought were just REALLY annoying, and there is another boy who is the meanest kid on earth. The last one named threw a bananna at my friend's eye, (we were playing bananna football)and she had to sit out of the game. The boys who I thought were annoying asked for us to get 600 extra points. It wasn't just that, they did things like that the whole time and it was really cool to be taught about that and then see it working in my life. I have decided that before I judge anyone I will get to know them first.

Today was REALLY hectic. We had to drive for 35 minutes because we had to go to the orthodoist. When we got there, something went wrong with the braces and now we may have to do some surgery on my sister's tooth, for the 2nd time in a year may I add. That is a little scary because we don't think that would be very good for her.
After that we had to go around 10 other places and we got home only a short time ago. I'm soooo sleepy now! Oh well! What my whole point in telling all that was that I was hoping you could please pray that my sister will not have to do surgery again. :{

(5)The thing I like about her was that it doesn't seem like she said, "Yay, my life is saved now let's go back to my old habbits." It seems like she is influenced by that and she really changed all of that.

SIDE NOTES
I want to be told that the world was not worthy of me, and in Hebrews in the 'Bible hero hall of fame' (sort of) it says that she was in that list. I think that if somebody who had that many issues can be in there than I can most certainly be encouraged by that. Somebody as bad as her is in the geneology of Christ. WOW! The lowest of low in the geneology of the highest of high.

Tonight is youth and we are going through a study called Heroes with Hangups. It is about how we put certain people from the bible on a pedestal(sp?) and think that they can do no wrong so we could never do what they have to better the kingdom.
